About Big Face…

BIG FACE’s original launch was set for March 2020 BC (Before Corona). It was geared toward creatives, especially those in the entertainment business. For over a decade I have been an NYC based actor and casting director who works in commercials and in film & television on projects spanning everything from large blockbusters to small independent films. I have also written and directed in a theatre company, been an assistant director and continue to work as an acting teacher. Given my unique position having worked with many others in various positions in the field, this podcast will offer you the chance to be a fly on the wall and get a behind-the-scenes look at what “The Biz” is really like. By listening to these people I’ve come to know, you’ll get a chance to hear and learn things you otherwise wouldn’t. No matter what stage you are at in your creative journey, you’ll hear stories and experiences that thread us all together and echo one thing: YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

I love acting, this business, and creatives and it is when I’m connecting with and helping my fellow creatives that I am my happiest and feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. With that, I want to offer you this insight and hope into a business that can so many times feel like a minefield. 

Fast Forward… “CORONA”. This business like the rest of the world has shut down and is not functioning like it once was, but until it does, I want you to still hear from these same people that can share their honest experiences about what it is like for them now. Social media or simply being a human can have a way of making us feel like everyone else is doing it “better”. Whatever you may be feeling during these uncertain times, my hope is that by listening to these creative people, you will find connection, identification, relief, hope and inspiration.
